I am a huge fan of Agatha Christie, G.K. Chesterton and P.D. James. When I was younger, the writings of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle were my passion. I very much enjoy the time spent in these worlds. But, there are other worlds equally as fascinating.
So, I wonder if you are up to a little detective work? If you had rather, we could talk about it as history, or biographic work. Yet, at a basic level it is somewhat philosophical, as well. I mean that it has to do with your freedom and mine. How can we solve puzzles and at the same time keep our noses out of other people's business? We would probably rather that they keep theirs out of ours.
This is no small matter. The problem graces the headlines of news broadcasts and the newspapers almost every day now. The Prime Minister of Australia is in a bit of a bother about the issue. The President of the United States had his troubles with the German leadership over the concern. Snowdon and Assange are both a bit more circumspect than they had been until recently.
Still, everyone is still peeking into everyone else's business. Where will it all end? Where should it end? We can try to work out some of the practicalities of this question by asking and answering another. Who was 'Cornel Lumiere' really and what will it take to pin him down?
